Unexpected charms amid chaos
The location is absolutely vibrant, with everything you'd want at your fingertips, from traditional tapas bars to markets. The staff was genuinely kind and eager to ensure a comfortable stay.
Unfortunately, the facilities were in dire need of renovation. The noise levels from outside and inside made it quite challenging to get a good night’s sleep, and cleanliness was a concern.

The memory foam topper on the mattresses aimed for comfort but didn’t quite deliver. It did provide a unique element to the experience, and at least everything generally worked as expected during our stay.
The hostel desperately needed a refresh. cleanliness was a major issue. The rooms felt cramped with uncomfortable beds, leading to stiff backs. Shared facilities lacked maintenance, such as missing shower components, and the overall atmosphere felt run-down.

The location is fantastic, right near La Rambla, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. The bed was comfortable with good AC, and I appreciated having a small sink in the room. However, the noise from the street was quite disruptive at night, so bringing earplugs is a must. The room wasn't the cleanest, and the shared facilities could get crowded at times. A flickering light in our room was annoying, too. Friendly staff members were always ready to help, which made a difference.

We had a fantastic time with our five kids exploring the vibrant streets, and the location right by the metro made it easy to visit the beach. The room was spacious enough for all of us, and Raquel's friendly attitude made our stay even more enjoyable.
My wife says that it would be great if the noise levels were managed better for families.
